5th Grade Teaches Kindergarten About Kindness

Every year, 5th grade teaches kindergarten about two of Cathedral's Core Values. This month, 5th grade visited Kindergarten for an afternoon lesson on November's Core Value: Kindness. They read The Kindness Quilt by Nancy Wallace to kindergarten and then were paired with an individual student to discuss the meaning of kindness, and how they are kind to others. Then they worked together to make a kindness quilt — just like in the story! This activity made for an excellent leadership opportunity for the 5th graders.
