Plan Ahead! STEAM Camp at Cathedral School, June 27-Aug. 5
The Cathedral School’s summer STEAM program is a chance to jump start rising 1st grade through rising sixth grade students’ interests in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math while having fun!
STEAM is an educational approach to learning by utilizing the above disciplines to practice collaborative problem-solving, critical thinking, perseverance, risk-taking, and inter-disciplinary project based learning. Over the course of the program, students will enjoy building and creating projects that require collaboration, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
A multitude of creative activities are planned both indoors and out. Our young students will work on age-appropriate projects and learn about art, programming, robotics, circuits, Minecraft, aerodynamics, engineering, stop animation video, game development, chemistry, 3-D printing, and so much more!
