The Return of K-2 Book Buddies

K-2 Book Buddies made their return to Cathedral after a three-year absence on Thursday, November 3. Book Buddies pairs a 2nd grader with a kindergartener and is an opportunity for 2nd graders to take a leadership role and work on their reading fluency. 2nd graders were responsible for leading the session with their buddy. They introduced themselves, asked what books their kindergarten buddy enjoyed, and then read their buddy a book of their choosing. 2nd graders also have the opportunity to share stories of their own that they published in class. Book Buddies will continue to take place on every Day 5.
