Kindergarten’s First Chapel

Our kindergarteners celebrated a beloved Cathedral tradition this week: their very first Lower School Chapel service! To begin the tradition, our youngest students walked up the stairs outside of the Cathedral, where they were greeted by Chaplain Wade. Head of Lower School Laura Higgins then knocked on the rarely opened great bronze doors, which then opened  to welcome our kindergarteners into the Cathedral Church for the very first time.

Once inside, the kindergarteners sat through their first chapel service, officially beginning their journey as part of our Cathedral community.

What a special way to start their time here. We can't wait to see them grow through many more chapel services to come!
