Cathedral Community Garden: Growing Thanks to Foundation Grants!
Big news for the Cathedral Community Garden! Thanks to a partnership between Lower School science teacher Paul LaValle and Director of Advancement Laura Gutiérrez Campbell, we are thrilled to announce that we've received a total of $5,000 in grants from the Whole Foods Market Foundation and National Association of Episcopal Schools to help our garden continue to grow and thrive. This generous support will go toward new tools, seeds, soil, and other essentials to keep our garden and outdoor classroom flourishing for the whole community to enjoy, learn about sustainability, and gardening while building community.
We are so grateful for these partnerships with two amazing foundations and can't wait to see what this next season brings. As always, our garden thrives because of our amazing volunteers, and we'd love for you to join us! Whether you have a green thumb or just want to lend a hand, there's a place for you.
