Welcome Back!

We are thrilled to welcome The Cathedral School community back to the Close this week for another wonderful school year!

The Back-t0-School season began this morning, when we welcomed all new students to Cathedral for orientation sessions designed to acquaint them with their new surroundings, new teachers, and new peers before the big first day.

Tomorrow, on Opening Day, the Close will come alive as students and families, new and returning, gather on the Front Porch for the first time in months. Parents are invited to stop by Lower School classrooms to share an embrace before wishing their children a good day at school. Meanwhile, Upper School students will spend the day briefly visiting each of their classes before Cathedral's six-day rotating schedule officially begins. Finally, students will end the day at dismissal with the sweet surprise of colorful cotton candy, courtesy of our thoughtful Parents Association.

We look forward to witnessing all the ways our students learn, grow and cultivate joy in the 125th year of The Cathedral School!
