Book Fair Online Shopping Experience

During the month of January, Cathedral community members are invited to browse and shop for a wide selection of books online at the Cathedral Book Fair page, through our partner Main Street Books. The Cathedral Parents Association will receive a part of the proceeds when you shop at Main Street Books in January, so please remember to enter the Coupon Code: PEACOCK when you enter your payment information. Books will be shipped directly to you, with a $10 flat fee per order placed.

When you shop the online book fair in support of the Cathedral Parent’s association, you will be entered in a raffle for a Mark My Time Digital Bookmark (Lower School) or a Sidekick LED book light (Upper School). Winners will be announced in February!

Specific Instructions for Shopping in Support of the Cathedral PA

The direct link to the Cathedral Book Fair is:  https://main-street-books.square.site/shop/cathedral-school/703. The fair is hosted by our Book Fair partner, Main Street Books.

How to Shop: On the Cathedral Book Fair page, you will see the books by our visiting authors. Please take the time to review that selection and seriously considering buying one or more books from the authors who are donating their time to speak to our children. After supporting our visiting authors, click “Shop the Entire Site” to browse through the selection of more than 6,000 titles – broken down by ages and categories of interest. There are plenty of Diaries of a Wimpy Kid, Captain Underpants, Guinness Books of World Records, Dr. Seuss, Mo Willems, The Who Was? series, gamer guides, and much, much more!

Payment and Shipment: In the first part of the check-out process you will see your cart on the right-hand side of the screen. At the bottom of your cart, click +add a coupon code, and please enter PEACOCK. The only way that the Cathedral PA will get a portion of the proceeds from your purchase is if your order is submitted with the code “PEACOCK”.

NEXT, you will be asked to pick a shipping method. The default shipping method: “Fedex direct to home” will be selected already. Please do not alter this. (Even though it seems as though there is an option that would allow for shipments direct to the school, shipping to school is not an option in our case; you may not ship any books direct to the school.)

FINALLY, when you enter your payment information, review and submit your order, please make sure that you see the word PEACOCK written somewhere on your receipt. If you do not see the code “PEACOCK” somewhere on the invoice when you review your order, please go back and enter the coupon code PEACOCK.

All books will be delivered directly to your home and will be processed after you submit your order. The cost for at-home delivery is a flat rate of $10 no matter how many books you order. You will pay this delivery cost each time you submit an order. One way to save on the delivery cost is to combine your order with that of some classmates; that way one person will receive the delivery for everyone and will have to distribute the books to all who ordered.
