Amazing Almuerzo Raises Funds for Hurricane Relief
Last Friday the Latinx and Hispanic Affinity Group hosted an "Amazing Almuerzo" fundraiser to support ongoing relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Students, faculty, and staff cooked delicious Latino food for the whole community to enjoy, and the Latinx group will donate the proceeds to the Global Giving Puerto Rico and Caribbean Hurrican Relief Fund. The event was a great opportunity for Cathedral students to learn more about Latino culture while supporting a great cause. The Upper School Latinx Affinity group would like to thank all of our families, Salsa Caterers in Mount Vernon, NY, and Cathedral staff members who donated dishes to the Amazing Almuerzo. Your generosity helped make this event the success that it was!
