Winterfest Was A Success!

Winterfest, hosted by the Cathedral School Parents Association, made a successful in-person return on Sunday, with the 1st floor transformed into a wintry wonderland of holiday fun! Parents and children from kindergarten to 8th grade enjoyed games and activities like Dreidel Spin, Kwanzaa Bean Bag Toss, and even had the opportunity to participate in a raffle. There was plenty of food to be enjoyed with a bake sale and international food stations, and students took advantage of the photo booth and participated in cookie and ornament decorating.

The Lower School Chorus, directed by Ms. Mannarino, gave an outstanding concert to accompany the festivities. The group performed eight songs, including four winter-themed songs sung in a round and other holiday songs such as "Deck the Halls," "My Favorite Things," and "Jingle Bells." The talented group of children performed beautifully and sang with amazing holiday spirit!

It was a joy to bring back this cherished event and bring Cathedral families together during the winter season. Thank you to the Parents Association, Winterfest Cochairs Nell Bryden and Courtney McGraw, the many volunteers who gave of their time and talents so generously, all who donated baked goods and food for the International Food Buffet, Cathedral Operations, and all guests for making this Winterfest the WinterBEST.
