School of Rock

Broadway may be dark still but the Crypt Gym was blazing last week with an amazing 8th Grade production of School of Rock. Kudos to our graduating students and all the wonderful faculty mentors who managed to pull off a full-scale production in the midst of continued health restrictions. Although the audience was limited to 8th Grade families due to social distancing, we recorded the last performance for a broadcast to the whole community today at 1:15 PM.

The lively production showcased the multifaceted talents of our 8th Grade singers, musicians, and actors. The story centers around an enthusiastic rocker named Dewey Finn who usurps a teaching job at a prestigious private school meant for his former bandmate. He gets to know them while getting them in touch with their inner rock and roll souls. You can see photos from the production in the albums to the right.
