Stay Tuned for Doing the Work: Equity and Engagement at Cathedral

Monday, February 22 - Friday, February 26

This community engagement week, in the vein of Spirit Week in May 2020 and Cathedral History Week in November 2020, will demonstrate the scope of our Equity and Engagement curriculum, from Kindergarten through 8th Grade and beyond, and invite all members of our community to engage more deeply in the work of anti-racism, equity, and justice.

The week will include several special events for alumni, parents, and the wider community, including an Alumni Focus Group, a Parent Equity Club Introductory Session, and the Absalom Jones Evensong.
In addition, we will be posting videos and special content to our Doing the Work webpage as well as our Facebook and Instagram social media channels throughout the week, so check back often.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement by emailing doingthework@cathedralnyc.org.

Thank you for engaging in this vital work!

Parent Equity Club Introductory Session
Thursday, February 25, 2021
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Zoom Link
Co-Sponsored by the Parents Association and Parents of Students of Color

Join us for this introductory session as we launch the school’s first Parent Equity Club. The club is akin to a monthly book club, but we plan to discuss all kinds of content related to equity. Our goal is to get to know each other, share our perspectives, and become a closer community that values equity and equality. Come to this first session to learn about the club and our first book selection, Caste by Isabel Wilkerson.
