Chanukah Chapel Family Presentation
Lower School students welcomed Rae B. '26 and her mother, Jamie, to chapel last week. They shared the story of the Festival of Lights and their family's tradition of lighting the menorah. Rae B. spoke about eating her favorite holidays foods including jelly-filled donuts and latkes. The students then learned about the dreidel game and the meaning of the Hebrew letters on each side. In honor of our upcoming all-school Chanukah Celebration this Wednesday, students will have jelly-filled donuts for lunchtime dessert. Cathedral is proud to celebrate the culture and traditions of all faiths. Thank you Rae B. and Jamie for sharing about Jewish traditions during Chanukah!
