What's New in the Innovation Lab?

Last week, Dr. Thomas helped our 8th grade students learn about growth mindset by completing a coding and robotics challenge. The students were given tough tasks and asked to think about their mindset while they worked to complete the challenge. At the end of the lesson, the students discussed their mindsets before, during, and after the challenge and how their mindset changed based on the activity they were completing. The robots were a great catalyst to spark some detailed and enlightening discussions on how our brains perceive challenge.
