Faculty and Staff Prepare for the New School Year

In August, Cathedral School faculty and staff attended a full week of In-Service sessions to prepare for the school year. Topics ranged from the latest safety protocol to the proper utilization of the school’s robust technology tools to best practices for effective communication. A highlight of the week was the inaugural “Great Cathedral Race,” which utilized a scavenger hunt located throughout Morningside Heights to encourage team building and collaboration. Every member of the Cathedral School employee body participated! Ann-Marie White, Head of the Upper School, was excited to share about her experience helping plan and participate in the Race. She commented, “People who smile at each other in the hallway finally had the chance to have a conversation and work together toward a common goal--winning the Race!” With all of this year’s In-Service offerings, faculty and staff were uniquely energized to welcome Cathedral students back to campus on Opening Day!
