Kindergarten Visits NYPL "Main Branch"

by Ricca Gaus
Last Tuesday, the kindergarten class visited the New York Public Library's Stephen Schwartzman Building on 42nd Street. The students listened to stories and checked out books with their very own library cards, many of whom did so for the first time. Students had previously read Lost in the Library which features the library lions Patience and Fortitude, so this was a great opportunity to see them in real life. We are pictured as a group with Patience outside the library. A good time was had by all!
