Core Value of the Month: Responsibility

The core value for September and October is Responsibility. Kindergarten through 8th grade students will participate in a variety of lessons and activities over the next two months that highlight this core value of The Cathedral School. At Cathedral, we explain responsibility as follows: responsibility affects us as individuals and extends to the entire Cathedral community. To demonstrate personal responsibility is to take ownership of our actions, to make good academic choices, to be socially prudent, to exhibit good sportsmanship, to know what is expected of us, and to strive continually for excellence. Talk to your child at home about what it means to be responsible. Share what your responsibilities are. Ask your child: What does responsibility mean to you? What are some responsibilities that are new to you this school year?
