Inspired by what you see and hear?
Share your own Spirit Story by submitting a written piece
via this Google Form. Maybe it’s a quick anecdote that perfectly captures the spirit of our community, or maybe it’s a longer reflection on what Cathedral has meant to you and your family—either way, we want to hear from you!

You can also share your Cathedral School story by recording a video and uploading directly to Facebook or Instagram—be sure to tag us

But wait, there’s more! The written story named “Most Spirited” by Head of School Marsha K. Nelson and a panel of Cathedral School faculty will receive a limited edition Cathedral School pennant, handmade by Oxford Pennants in Buffalo, New York, and three Honorable Mentions will receive a Cathedral School Moleskine Notebook. Don’t miss this chance to share your story and claim these special spirit souvenirs!
Students can also celebrate the Cathedral spirit by sharing their own spirit of creativity and entering the Spirit Week Coloring Contest!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to
design/execute a new pennant OR banner that captures the spirit of our Cathedral School community! These can be created with any medium, using any materials—be creative! This means you may print out
this packet and color/design directly on the paper; draw and color your own; or cut/craft/create on any other material you would like to use. Please click
here for more information.
The contest begins on Monday, May 11, and all submissions must be received by 6 PM on Saturday, May 16. The winning entry will be announced in the May 19 edition of the Peacock Post. The creator of the pennant/banner named “Most Spirited” by a panel of community members including Ms. Marsha K. Nelson, Ms. Kristie Valentine, Mr. Brian Delacey, Chef Michelle Whittle, and other stalwarts of spirit will receive… drum roll, please… a 1/2-size serving pan of Chef Whittle's Baked Macaroni & Cheese!
