Ms. Nelson's Bragging Rights

This week, I have the pleasure of announcing some award-winning news about two of our alumnae. First, Tiara Lewis-Falloon ’15, now at Loomis Chaffee, ran the second leg of the 4 x 100 relay race and helped Loomis come in first in front of over 100,000 fans at the Penn Relays, the oldest and largest track and field event in the country. Many of you might remember that Tiara received the Physical Athlete Maturity Award last year as a Cathedral eighth grader for her outstanding leadership on and off the field. Check out her winning run here.

Second, Jenna Wu ’09, now a senior at Colorado College, has been chosen for a Crown-Goodman Presidential Scholarship, which rewards students with a record of impressive achievement and academic success with a scholarship to help pay off student-loan debt, allowing them more freedom to pursue their dreams.

Congratulations to these young women.

Ms. Nelson
