Students Learn to Code in Library/Tech Classes

During the months of January and February, students are continuing to learn and build their coding skills during Library/Tech class. Led by Ms. Owens, Ms. Joshi and Ms. Beary, students are guided to follow instructions, problem solve, work collaboratively and think critically.

Kindergarteners learned to program Bee Bots to solve maze puzzles and 5th graders used the online program Scratch to learn block coding. Students programmed objects to move, speak, and created sound effects.

Coding teaches students important life skills such as decision making and following directions. For more information email: Ms. Joshi, Ms. Beary, or Ms. Owens.
